Our country has determined not to follow any religion, the question should be raised- then what is right and wrong, why do we follow these laws that say: don’t kill and don't steal.why?. obviously the rule: “do to others as you would have done to you” still works secretly in the background, its actually a bible verse.
The point is that the bible could be implemented into this country as a moral that we could follow. A christian faith lived in accordance with the bible does not persecute other religions, so it could be used as a guide line.
Without a template of morals we are nothing, at present we are living on the fumes of our godly base, but in the next generation it is often- can I get away with it unnoticed- instead of I shouldn’t do that, and really for a non christian there is no point, the only reason I can see that someone would not steal or kill or vandalize in this day and age is because someone will be unhappy.
So we are a loveless nation whose only chance is love, in the race to become people friendly we have kicked our base out from under us and landed in a muddy rut, we've start to sink, some of us have air pockets that may last us until we sink through this filter into the glory land.
The question before us with faith is: should we fight to rebuild a base that will never stay or should we just sink with our own backup air supply?
